The human brain processes information through various channels. Many of these channels are not stimulated when learning to read and write via conventional teaching methods. In contrast, Dybuster's concept is based on activating new channels for learning by combining words with colors, forms and musical tones.
Words are not just depicted in black letters on white background. Words are translated into a specific sequence of colors, forms and tones. Also, the words' syllables are presented in 3D to stimulate the spatial aspect. The brain is then capable of linking, processing and combining the information from these newly activated channels for a successful learning process.
Multi-sensory learning is considered in Neuropsychology as the most effective form of learning. It is incorporated in Dybuster by using the latest technology available in computer graphics. Through multi-sensory learning, dyslexics are able to use their own special strengths to learn the written language.
